I had have a good laugh, whilst in Vietnam C-milk and I were travelling quite a lot through the northern parts of the country and we stayed in some rather low budget hotels. The hotels in Vietnam are actually incredibly cheap and even really good hotels will cost you less than a crappy Motel in the states to stay in! For example, a large room with two queen sized beds including an awesome full buffet continental breakfast was less than 60 US dollars for the night at the Mercure in Hai Phong, an absolute reprieve from the chaos and pollution outside. We however do like to live it a little rough when we do these adventures as we don't want to divorce ourselves from society as a whole, posh hotels are always like a little bubble or even oasis of familiarity when abroad and we don't want that.

Love a good buffet breakfast!

The bigger and more posh hotels usually have secure parking for the bikes too:

Bike theft is a huge issue in Vietnam and the smaller hotels are aware and usually let you park in the lobby or they lock your bikes up for you which is awesome!

Back to the sign about seducing the prostitutes! We were staying in a cheap hotel somewhere about 3 hours outside of Hai Phong and like many of the hotels in Vietnam, there is a spa attached, I saw the sign in the lobby and had to take a photo as the badly translated English really was chuckle-worthy.

Needless to say it was another evening of C-milk and myself exploring the streets and taking lots of B-roll and of course a few beers were involved. We never did try and seduce any prostitutes (I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be the other way round?).

- Stay Awesome!

Gee, I always forget about not seducing the prostitutes. Especially, if they are in a prostitute union.

Great to see that Sasha is in the US! OMG! What kind of 'dinner/lunch' does she have? Potato chips? I am afraid if the Americans give that kind of processed junk food to her, she might want to run back to China ;) Enjoy Mexico (will Sasha travel with you?)
