A look at life in an Urban Village (Patreon)

Since I got a positive response from you guys the last time I posted a 5min street scene, I went ahead and decided to do more, this time I went to an urban village called Shawei 沙尾村 which loosely translates to "Tail of the Sand river village" the time is around 6pm and people are just going about their business, I can tell you that almost any time of day you'll have large amounts of people walking through these streets. Many of the people living here are either low income migrants or super rich millionaires, this being because these urban villages are what's left of the old Shenzhen, and anyone who owns a house here is either renting it out or just living here but the property is worth millions and millions and there will be a massive payout when the government comes to knock it all down in the future.

I hope these places (there are many dotted around Shenzhen) don't disappear too soon as they are one of my favourite parts of the city and give it a very special sort of charm.

 WARNING this is literally is just a street scene with people going about their daily lives!
