April approaches! (Patreon)

Tomorrow is April Fool’s day and I can’t stand that silly traditional day of pranks! Sasha has to work so I’ll be out and about taking B-roll and shooting footage for my upcoming video on the viability of retiring in China (more interesting than it sounds I hope). Other than meeting a subscriber for coffee in the morning, I’ll be out for the whole day finding interesting places to shoot and hopefully getting some good B-roll. I think I’ll also post my second set of Patreon Exclusive Photos tomorrow if you guys don’t mind me posting so soon, I just expect that I’ll get some more good photos tomorrow as I’m finally getting to grips with my new camera.

Also considering a live stream sometime this week!

Like anything, I guess it would depend on your family situation and your financial situation. Given the possibility for a very low cost of living, I would think it could be a very good option for some. Especially if you wanted to travel extensively through Asia.

Interesting timing. I just started researching where to retire to, possibly somewhere in Central America, when this caught my eye. I'm very much looking forward to this video, and hoping someone can do or has done a similar one on retiring in Taiwan. Language isn't a huge issue (my wife is from China), but economic and political restrictions due to being a foreigner are what I'm most curious about.
