So this isn't an edited video, it's just a short collection of clips I took the other night when I was walking out with Sasha and thought that you guys would find it interesting how in one open square, you'll have these sort of gangs of dancing Aunties all trying to compete with each other by blasting out their music loud enough to carve out their own little slice of turf!

I’ve heard it is banned in some cities, but like most things in China - not enforced. A lot of younger people really don’t like it because they just take over a parking lot, 公园, etc... and start blasting out music to dance. On the other hand it is really good to see the. Active and enjoying themselves, and it’s not all old women (though rarely under 35 I think), sometimes even see couples ballroom dancing, also when SerpentZA calls it granny gangs, I can’t help thinking of the Monty Python “Hell’s Grannies” sketch haha.

that's heavy techno party. and you can actually see the "lag" or "latency" and "delay" from first to last row of people.
