A giant wall of text with Patreon additions and changes! (Patreon)

I have a long wall of text below about Patreon things, which I know is a bit much.  If you just want to skim through it, I tried bolding the most important and summarizing points!  

1. Life Notes...

I'd just like to start off... that uh, the world epidemic started just a month or two ago.  I hope everyone and your loved ones are healthy and happy during these times, since I know it's been a real rough change for a lot of people.

For myself, I've been doing okay.  Nothing major has happened to me so far (luckily), and my day-to-day life is pretty much the same, except I don't go outside as often as I used to.  I'm pretty worried about my parents since they're pretty old, but so far they've been okay.

Art-wise, I'm progressing slowly, but progressing nonetheless!  I'm gonna force myself to draw NSFW art a biiiit more often, because I don't draw it enough (though I say this every time).

Animal Crossing came out recently, so I've been playing it since launch!  It's real relaxing, and a nice thing to go to when I just need some time to do simple things, like catching bugs or running errands.  If you wanna add me, my Switch code is SW-0808-0859-5188!  Just let me know though, I don't add random people I don't recognize.

I've been casually playing around with modeling clay so that I can (1) force myself to think about forms and objects at all angles and (2) have something I can scrape together as a really rough reference if I'm ever having a tough time drawing something in particular.  It's pretty fun, and it works out my arms a bit because the clay has some time before it warms up!  I'd highly recommend it if you're bored and you wanna just MAKE something.  I specifically got the type of clay that doesn't harden over time, so that I can just smash it together and make something new without having to pay more for more clay.

Anyway, I don't have too much to say about myself, so onto the (cough) additions and changes!

2. Future Patreon Additions

Lifetime Track Rewards

This was suggested a long time ago, but it's been on my mind since then.  Originally, it was going to be a system where a patron could redeem some of their lifetime donations for rewards, but this would take way too much of my time and require too much organization/tracking to actually work.

So, this idea came to me fairly recently, and I think it's much easier to handle.  Essentially, patrons can claim rewards once they reach or surpass certain milestones for their lifetime pledge amount.  The only thing I would really have to keep track of is what rewards patrons claim.

As of right now, I'm thinking it would be a mix of physical and digital rewards (for example: charms, prints, commission discounts).  The logistics behind it (will I keep adding to the track or will I refresh it occasionally?) is something I still need to think about, but I am excited about it!  If you have any suggestions for rewards, comment below!  I'd love to get more input on this.  :)

Commentary Reward

The commentary reward will no longer become a monthly thing, and more of a spur-of-the-moment thing. I'm also going to start making sped-up Youtube videos of my stream and private recordings, and voicing over them.  These videos will be unlisted at first (Patreon-exclusive) until the artwork itself becomes public.  I'll also be adding Patreon shoutouts to the end of the videos, which I'll talk about in the next point.

Patreon Shoutout (Credit)

Thought it'd be time for me to finally formalize this again.  Patreon shoutouts will basically be where I list all of my Patreon supporters on bigger things I make, like videos, visual novels, comic series, etc.  It'll be an opt-out option, meaning you'll have to let me know if you don't want to be included in this list.

The Patreon display name is how it will be displayed in my Patreon Shoutouts.  If you also have your last name included in your display name, it will be shortened.  For example, if your display name is "John Smith", it will be shortened to "John S.".

Monthly Art Suggestions

I've been getting a lot more entries for the monthly art suggestions, so I'll be limiting it to the first 6 entries (based on timestamps).  When I notice that I've gotten enough, I'll close the Google Form and update the Patreon post.

Monthly Art Polls

I've mentioned this in the past (I think...), but I thought I should clarify here and in future polls.  Whenever there's a tie, I essentially become the tie-breaker and choose whichever one I want to draw more.  Sometimes I'll draw the 2nd winner if I feel like I have enough drive and time, but that's not a guaranteed.

NSFW Artwork

So far, what I've been choosing to post publicly (uncensored art vs. censored art) has been a bit random.  So, I'll be adding these rules to explain what is Patreon-exclusive content and what isn't for my NSFW artwork.

Additionally, most of my artwork is time-gated in Patreon, so regardless if I post it publicly or not, it will be Patreon-exclusive for a few days.  Patreon-exclusive content will either not be posted publicly at all, or only a teaser (cropped/censored version) will be shown.

What is not Patreon-exclusive content: nudity, light sexual themes (ecchi, teasing, etc.)

What is Patreon-exclusive content: explicit sexual content (visual penetration, sexual fluids, fetishes, etc.), implied penetration

* NSFW commissions will still be posted publicly (if given permission), since they were not created specifically for Patreon.

Tier Name Changes

I'll be renaming the tier names so that they make more sense.  I originally named them that way because it was cute, but honestly, they make no sense in terms of the tier differences, haha.  So, now they'll be themed after rarities, since I draw a lot of gacha game characters and... I play gacha games.

Teadot has been changed to N (Normal), Teadot has been changed to UC (Uncommon), Ropot has been changed to R (Rare), Artpot has been changed to SR (Super Rare), and Superdot has been changed to SSR (Super Super Rare).

4. Other Changes

Discord

My discord is getting a bit more active, so it'd be awesome if I could chat with a few more of you guys (Patrons or non-Patrons!) over there!  Everyone's really welcoming and nice (albeit there's some teasing), so don't worry about feeling left out.  :)

Twitch Schedule

My twitch schedule recently changed to Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays at 4:00 PM PDT for at least 1.5 hours.  I find it a lot easier to stick to the schedule now, since I have "rest" days where I can dedicate it to commissions and other artwork.
