Happy Chinese New Year, everyone!
January 2020 Patreon Survey Results
Here are the results from last month's survey.
1. How did you hear about my Patreon?
The majority of pledges originated from Reddit (45.5%)! The rest were scattered across other social medias.
2. Why did you pledge?
Looks like most of you wanted to support me (thank you!), and then the second-most selected option was tied between art requests and NSFW art access.
3. What series do you like at the moment?
Fire Emblem was the most popular series (72.7%), then it went to Fate (45.5%) and Azur Lane (36.4%).
4. What kind of merchandise do you like?
Most selected prints (54.5%), then it went to art books (45.5%) and acrylic keychains (36.4%).
5. What kinds of drawings do you want to see more of from me?
Most of you guys answered NSFW art, haha! I'm... uh, I'm trying harder to draw more NSFW art, okay!
A few others noted that they wanted more group pictures and happy drawings.
Surprisingly, someone noted that they wanted to see original characters/character designs. I have a few that I don't draw very often, but I'll try to sneak them in and give them some love. :)
6. Do you have any suggestions for my Patreon rewards/content?
Some things I plan or hope to implement soon are:
- Discounts on merchandise (like I said in the previous journal, I want to go to cons and so I'll have a larger merchandise selection soon)
- Rewards for patrons who have pledged for a certain period of time (I'm still figuring out what I would want to do for this, but Patreon does show me how long someone has pledged for)
- Live interactions for patrons, possibly a live drawing session (I'd like to do something like this, maybe once a month? Patreon has something like this set up with Youtube, so I'd be able to limit it to patrons only)
And that's it! I knew a few of these already, but some of them surprised me. Thank you everyone for participating in the survey!
General Musings
While I haven't been keeping with my streaming schedule completely, I've uh... been trying more! My bird Gob isn't too obsessed with her eggs anymore, so I've been doing voice again. More people have been visiting the streams as well, which is really nice! I love how lively it becomes, and it's nice talking to everyone and seeing how they're doing.
I've been playing around with compositions more this month, which is wonderful! I'm trying to do more "interaction" pictures too, since I hardly do those. I feel like my pieces are starting to feel a lot more lively and fun compared to my past ones.
There's that one visual novel/game that I'm trying to work on, but I haven't had much time for lately, between commissions, Patreon, and life. I try to allot a bit of time for it every week though, so the characters are slowly getting fleshed out.
My day-to-day life has been getting more and more structured lately! So I'm trying to go to the gym in the mornings, then I work, eat, work more, stream, work, and then eat and do some minor non-drawing work. That's, uh... my weekday life, haha. Weekend life is more free-form though!
As always, thank you all for supporting me. It makes me so happy to look at the likes and comments you leave behind, and talking with a few of you on Discord and Twitch has been fun too!
Have a wonderful rest of your week, everyone! 💖
