Hey! So uhhh...hope you guys were having fun playing Zelda, which is what I kinda did...until my game card died.

I'm aware that Zelda would definitely take some time away from video making during May, but I did put out some Plus channel stuff in the meantime, and on the other hand also did some other work like art commissions and tidying up the Discord server! And of course, editing other stuff for my day job.

The schedule currently remains unchanged, and preliminary work is still ongoing for the FlashBoy Plus video. I think the powers that be killed my Zelda cart so I could actually work on this more, so I'll try and do just that.

With that out of the way, let's just go over the stuff that came out during May!

The Most Expensive amiibo | Things of Interest

The Qbby amiibo video is out! If you didn't notice, I did try and spruce up the editing a bit for some of the shots on this one! I think having bits of more fancy editing in future videos would serve as better practice. I also kinda went out of my way to get a turntable for this one. Not sure how useful it'll be in the long term, but I can definitely see it being used again for future Things of Interest episodes! While it hasn't quite made the splash I thought it'd make, overall I still think it turned out quite well!

Plus videos

Over on the Plus channel, I took a look at the iQue DS game cards mentioned in last month's report! They're definitely the perfect kind of novelty for the channel, so I'm glad I could cover them!

And in another impromptu topic, I checked out some Super Nintendo World snacks from a question block-shaped tin! Doing this kinda reminded me that a long long time ago I had an idea for the main channel where I would just be reviewing a bunch of licensed Nintendo-related snacks from Japan, but I wasn't sure how meaty that concept would be, so I guess something like that fits the Plus channel now! And hey, at least there was something more to say about these than the Super Nintendo World Coca-Cola.

The Idlefish video from May 2022 has also been released to the public, but perhaps it's also a good time for another trip to the site soon...

That's about it for the month! Zelda exists and I might get sucked back into it again once I get a fixed copy because I haven't finished it yet, but in the meantime I'll try to work on things as much as possible. Oh and before I end this...thank you once again for your birthday wishes!

(Putting this final line here as a time capsule but I can't wait to see the disaster that is Everybody 1-2-Switch unfold)
