Hey there Agents and Cadets!

Wow, what a week it has been! The feedback we have received on Silent Echo's first release has been great and we're super happy so many of you have found the game interesting.

Today we would like to share with you our plans for the near future of the game and also answer some concerns that have been brought up.

Starwatch Academy

A few members have asked us if Starwatch Academy was being shelved in favor of Silent Echo. This is not the case, and we will be continuing the story of Starwatch Academy for the foreseeable future.

Our writer is now getting back to work as he has returned home from the hospital and we will keep you updated in the news posts on the progress being made towards the release of version 0.3.9.

We still have a lot of cool stuff planned for Starwatch!

Silent Echo

We're super happy about the overall reception to the game and the feedback you all have sent us. Welcome to the new members that have joined us after playing Silent Echo!

For this first release, we focused on what is being called the Defiant/Ava path and left the Compliant/Kill path quite barebones.

Fleshing out this second path is going to be the focus of the next patch. We have some nice ideas for that one, especially for its exclusive companion!

We'll also be looking into overall improvements to the game, such as improving the minimap, adding more random encounters and overall variety, implementing the energy damage type and its special effects and whatever else we can think of.

In version 0.1.2, we have shipped a few changes, including a boost to the amount of resin dropped when killing enemies. This was a bandaid quick fix as we didn't really expect anyone to run into difficulty issues, but we also realize that aside of scavenging in Office 2A for the occasional vial of resin, the only way of getting resin currently implies always killing the enemy, which may be frustrating after a while.

In that spirit, we'll be looking into providing a nice alternative/additional way of earning resin through an item recycling system. We understand desk dwellers have found themselves sitting on a sizeable pile of soda cans, so hopefully this should also be relevant for you, unless you want to keep your stash :)

So question for SE - Is Emilia's Corruption currently capped at 2/ Ava's Bond capped at 2 similar to how our corruption caps at 2?

Hi! Emilia's maximum corruption is indeed 2 for the time being, same for the player corruption level. Ava's evolution level is capped to 1 and her maximum bond is 2.

Silent Echo: please consider not using "bow chica wow wow" music for the sexy scenes, it really pulls out of the mood for me. Continued subtly creepy music, or maybe even some sort of odd hypno droning might work well?
