Hey! How ya doin’? I hope you’re doing well. The Flash is bombing at the box office. The Flash is filled with Micheal Keaton Batman, Ben Affleck Batman, and Ezra Miller on a rampage. The Flash had the most potential in the world, Andy Muschietti behind the camera, the hope o revitalizing the DCEU, DC Universe or saying goodbye to the DCEU. The Flash is also a Beautiful Lie. Hence the title of this HiTop, HiTop Films video, The Flash is a Beautiful Lie. This is less a Flash Review, The Flash Rant, rather a The Flash Video Essay, a DCEU Video Essay in a sense that covers how both the character or the larger DC Film Universe has been running in circles for so long. This was a ton of fun to make, even though I am sick to death at staring at footage from this film. Me and some friends agreed to see the flash… I dunno what happened next but instead of watching Batman returns again, I saw spider verse another 2 times- money well spent if you ask me

My Mom was killed when I was 12, December 6th, 2015. With all the flaws this movie has let me tell you the one thing they nailed was what it feels like to so desperately wish you could change things, to miss her and do anything to see her one last time. I cried so much when Barry had one final talk with her because I too know, for a fact that I wouldn't be who I am today had I not lost her, I learned at too young of an age that you have to value everyone you love and let the harsh reality of life and death forge you into a mature and responsible person. I also respect the Director and am an advocate for horror film directors to direct Superheroes movies. Overall, the Flash is a movie I loved and am whole heartedly biased over it.
