I did transpose it back into its original key of G major, while PMJ's version was in F major, in order to execute a key change to G in the final chorus. Towards the end I deviated from the PMJ version and put my own spin on it to. I first started working on this arrangement well over a year ago and then procrastinated forever on the finishing the second half. In the end it's not nearly as grandiose as the PMJ version or even just as a piano solo, but I think it captured the essence and energy of the original quite well while sounding good. What ultimately gave me the push to finish it was Creep being featured in the opening to the new Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Not a great reason but it reminded me to get back into the song and polish this up.
