This arc was so great! Loved how much we got from the Syndulla family, Mini Tarkin is shaping up to be a very interesting villain, and this Clone has given me loads of questions! Also loved that frantic little droid 😂

Captain Howzer is honestly such a good character, he embodies all the clones we love from the clone wars by being everything we love about the clones. Made me feel like I'd known his character for years instead of one episode In terms of the chips, it was designed to execute the Jedi and induce 100% loyalty, however it wears off over time since the clones are organic and not droids, hence the empire wants to introduce conscripted soldiers to have loyalty through want not force Also I absolutely loved the doctor who comparison, it's my second favourite franchise, behind star wars of course!

Yeah there's definitely a lot more nuances to the Inhibitor chips than it being as simple as on is Imperial drone and off is Normal good guy it seems or it really could just be only a jedi related thing, or it's worn off but the effects have just left them indoctrinated into doing the Empire's work willingly as they're bred to be soldiers so serving the "Republic" is the only thing they know and that's how Howzer could get through to some of them by really laying it out to them and opening their eyes as some may agree but not others, it's definitely easier to have that mindset going forward even if we don't have answers or fully understand yet but there's loads of theories out there and all of them definitely have truth and everyone has their own little head-canon reasoning. I'd say this show is definitely what increased the whole division amongst the fanbase about the idea of inhibitor chips as I can see how it could create a lot of confusion and inconsistencies in some fans minds. As for Chopper yeah he definitely has an attitude with psychopathic elements and takes pleasure in murder and chaos that you'll see in future 😬😂 another thing is he actually says real dialogue but it's really modulated and when you watch him for long enough you start to understand him and let's just say if they didn't modulate his voice this show wouldn't be kid friendly anymore 🤣🤣🤣

Loved Howzer in this so much and you’re so right, he literally embodied everything we saw from the Clones during the Clone Wars and it was really nice to see that again in this new era. Knowing this about the chips has given me so much hope now, I thought it just made every Clone a mindless droid, sentencing them to a fate of living through their worst nightmare with no release but having the Chip degrade over time makes so much sense and now I just want that to happen to all the clones but I have no clue if they could all get a happy ending. As for Doctor Who, absolutely loved that show growing up, Matt Smith and Karen Gillan were my Doctor and Companion and just looking back the writing and story of that show were so incredible.

I quite like the nuance behind the chips now as it offers so many more options for storytelling rather than having the Clones just be sentenced to be mindless puppets for the rest of their lives, plus the point of the Chip was the Jedi which stemmed from Palpi’s hate for them so it stand to reason that he could have been blinded by that and saw the Clones having little use to his Empire once the order was given, so he’d allow for the chips effects to were off cause he would think the Clones wouldn’t be a threat. I can only imagine the amount of division this caused 😂 On one hand, I can appreciate the permanence of the Chip and how final the fate of the Clones is and just how that adds to the tragedy of Revenge of the Sith but I definitely like the prospect of the Clones getting to be freed. I’m so happy this droid will be coming back 😂 Absolutely loved everything about him in this and it’s made me want to see so much more of him now! I thought I heard him say something like ‘Oh no’ at one point so I’m glad I wasn’t going crazy, honestly love that they’ve given him actual voice lines like this cause that’s got to be quite fun figuring out what he’s saying.
