I KNEW IT!!! I don't want Wrecker to turn but it's just inevitable now 😭😭 at least Omega's getting better with her weapon and the two returning characters were really cool to see!

Out of all the possible returning characters no one expected Trace and Rafa Martez lol. 😂 some fans were like "noo not these two! 😭" But for the most part their return was surprisingly quite well received, I think enough time passed since their Arc in CW aired that everyone had kinda eased up on them since then so they were pleased to see more familiar faces and that the 2 actually doing things for the greater good now, and they worked quite well here in a single early episode compared to a 4 episode Arc at the end of a long series. Ahsoka definitely had a major influence on them after she departed I like to imagine she still visits them from time to time which would make sense seeing as Ahsoka is now part of the slowly growing rebellion she probably recruited them in the first place.

Most people were annoyed at these two returning but I thought it was a good idea. It retroactively made Ahsoka's season 7 arc more important as the characters weren't one and done appearances

I honestly love that they brought them back like this and this feels so like a much more natural inclusion, as you said including them at the end of a long show, with a long arc where their sole purpose is to help another character develop, didn’t do them any favours, here they fit so much better, they have a better role in the plot and what they’re doing is actually for the greater good, plus I love that they're actually in the rebellion, seems so cool that we’re getting to see it built like this and just having these character included in it is awesome!

I really enjoyed their return, they fit so much better here than when they appeared in Clone Wars and I think in a way this almost fixes them for me, their purpose is no longer to simply help another character develop but to have a much larger role in the plot of the episode, Plus I think it’s so cool that they’re now part of the rebellion, Ahsoka really made them do a complete one-eighty 😂
