This arc just got WAY more interesting!!! Still enjoying the exploration of Ahsoka's morality and state after leaving the Jedi, the Martez sisters' past is definitely a good way to counter Ahsoka's beliefs, especially with their ties to Luminara, but how this one ended has me very excited!!

Yeah like you said Objectively This is an Okay Arc with fun moments filled with Very Interesting Links for setting up Something Grander and yeah the Sisters are Okay Characters but I've grown to really warm up to them but I think that's a case of rewatches and getting more used to them if that makes sense lol but I do appreciate that you were light on them first time round as I know they can tend to really irritate people which I could understand why but I guess me growing up with Younger Siblings helped me tolerate them and even enjoy their bickering haha, I think you'll like the next Arc a whole lot more and the Final one Even better. Bit of History with a Sweet story at end; When it comes to things Clone Wars got heat for I honestly don't think anything got more Backlash and Flak than Trace & Rafa Martez, it was brutal, Clone wars had it's fair share of backlash occasionally in it's time but this was a whole 'nother level (only comparable Amount is Ahsoka way back in her Debut Movie which makes this kinda fitting as she's paired with them now) and loads of people still love to sh*t on them today, I don't think it was them personally but a whole load of other factors like everyone waiting years for Clone Wars Season 7 which had limited Episodes and to be reintroduced with this Arc so I could understand people's outrage and Trace & Rafa were the center of it so they were the obvious & easy target and to be honest I don't think Trace & Rafa helped to "Elevate" the Arc which a lot already weren't feeling from the start. I know Trace's Voice Actress Brigitte took it quite personally and had a rough period from it being excited to join the Franchise in this show everyone loved and to be rejected like that, but the sweet side is she had Ashley (Ahsoka's VA) To lean on for Support as Ashley could 100% relate having the exact same Experience when Ahsoka Debuted, and of course she had LOADS of fun returning and filming this Arc with the two so she was like the Perfect person to help her through that time.

I did enjoy the sisters for what they were, they helped Ahsoka go through what she needed to but I can also see why some people would find them irritating, the Spices dumping really got to me 😂 Though I do think on a re-watch I’d appreciate them more as you said, for me I just wasn’t expecting to get two new characters with big personalities show up in the final season with a rather tame storyline. WOW, these two really got as much hate as Ahsoka!? Overall, I’d say they were pretty decent characters, nice tragic backstory letting Ahsoka view the Jedi differently, gave a solid face to the harsh life of Coruscant and kept the sibling dynamic which Star Wars basically thrives on. Though I can understand why some would be salty at their introduction, as you said the wait probably got to a of people who would have built up expectations in their minds which reality would never have matched. It's always horrible when an actor gets hated on for just doing their job, I will never understand why people love to hate on others like that, sure I’ll have my annoyances with a movie or show but it would be a character I might not like, the Actor is only the face of it, reading what someone else wrote for them. Glad to hear that it had a sweet ending though, Ahsoka’s VA was definitely the perfect person to be around for that sort of thing.
