This was SO GOOD! Definitely wasn't expecting this level of quality from a fan-film and it was great to get to know more about Snape.

Hey Ben. Unfortunately with the movies, you only see a little bit about Harry’s father. In the book, it goes into more details, but yes, James was a bully. Lily wasn’t crazy about him at first. I don’t know what changed, but James as a show off and not very nice. He tormented Snape from the moment they met. He knew Snape and Lily were friends before they started school. James was a jerk. Perhaps if he wasn’t so horrible to Snape, Snape may not have gone with Voldemort. I agree, this was very well done.
