Barriss' story finally gets continued and I have to say while I enjoyed it, it felt like they rushed through her time with the Inquisitors. I did really enjoy getting more info on these guys though but now I have a bunch of questions 😂

Something about Vader is that even though he is Anakin he doesn't like to associate himself with that person, in his Mind Anakin was someone else, the Public story Vader tells people in the galaxy is Vader/he killed Anakin but that's also kinda true "from a certain point of view" like old Obi says haha. Previous relationships before he was Vader (with the exception of a couple) were Anakin's relationships, Like in his eyes Barriss was Anakin's enemy because she wronged Anakin's apprentice not Vaders so acknowledging that would be admitting to himself that he's still Anakin, Yes he might be lying to himself but that's kinda how he does it lol, I imagine if he comes Across Ahsoka he wouldn't want to acknowledge her as his former apprentice but "Anakin's apprentice" so that kinda explains why he wouldn't be that interested in Barriss even though it could've been interesting to explore a bit but it's definitely in Character for Vader. But it's fun to Imagine he's probably fuming internally and doing his best to not think about it haha 😂😂🤣 just kinda pushing that all down which adds to his suffering in silence. And yeah about Inquisitors, yeah they kinda can act as elite enforcers for the empire if they must, or sometimes they can cover for Vader and he will send them in his place to do his Jobs if he's busy or if he's just feeling Lazy one day lol 😂 but primarily their main purpose is to Hunt down Jedi that slipped through the Cracks of Order 66 or seek out anyone attuned to the Force really that could one day manifest into a Talented Force Individual if found by a surviving Jedi with training. You're kinda on the right track about not really having a uniqueness, the idea is their former identity is forgone and they become a number, a "Brother/Sister" which is why Lyn said "I don't go by that name anymore" when she entered Barriss's cell, they're given the standardized equipment like black armor or suits and sometimes a mask and of course the infamous double lightsaber that Spins lol (I'll talk more about that in a bit). and don't worry there aren't just 5, the other two that entered were just kinda the recent batch who came today to meet their master who made a special visit just for them lol 😂 how nice of Vader right? 😊😂 Roughly today there's been about 15-17 ish that have been introduced, you'll see quite a few more of them in future shows but not all as some are exclusive to comics and video games. Another thing to add is their title system is kinda funny, you got your Grand Inquisitor obviously but the others have numbers like I mentioned before and their number is in front of their gender title, like example Lyn is "Fourth Sister" the Bird Man inquisitor is supposedly the "Sixth Brother", it's still not 100% confirmed today what significance the number they have means, as far as we know it's just random. And one last thing is of course the Spinning Sabers which are very infamous today because of a particular moment/s that happen later on in something else haha but I won't say what because I really want your genuine reaction to it so I hope no one gives it away ahaha 😂😶 but the idea is supposed to be intimidation and to make them more "dangerous" kinda like how Grievous winds up his sabers when he's coming at you, I mean you can imagine them coming up to you with it twirling and how terrifying it could be or at least the minimum you'd definitely be caught off guard and taken back. In terms of this show and this Arc, that was kinda my Final Verdict of the show in general is even though I enjoyed it, even really enjoyed it in quite a few areas, the runtime really holds it back and makes me want more and it yeah like you kinda said it was a bit of a detriment to Barriss's side more, Morgan's story I'd say I was pretty satisfied and happy enough with hers because we know where her story leads and her time jumps are a lot more large, but Barriss's side which is more open ended and closer together I was definitely wanting more lol and feeling a little disappointed, but not to say I didn't like it because I did but I just think there was and probably should've been a bit more to it, when I saw the Trailer and how they were teasing Barriss becoming an Inquisitor I knew right away "Oh there's no way she'll fully go through with it, that's not her" so the direction they went makes sense, but I guess I wish there was a bit more of an internal struggle, even identity crises for her and it took a bit longer like you said. But yeah definitely still excited & will definitely be interested to see what you think of their final episodes. Now onto the Acolyte which just finished a couple days ago and yeah.. that'll be interesting to see you watch ahaha 😂 Some advice I'll kinda say to you now going into it is to brace yourself a little bit, keep an open mind and expectations low, also kinda think of it as it's own thing and not associate it too much with what you know about the "Skywalker timeframe" and because it's 100 years before all that it definitely makes it easier to do that because there isn't really too much that links the two. Even if I personally don't think it's "the worst show of all time" that the internet makes it out to be that still isn't too much of a compliment and definitely doesn't mean much lol, and I wouldn't wanna give you much hope going into it, and I like to think I'm pretty lighter on things and more easily pleased compared to the general audience. 😂 but I'll save more of my thoughts for the reaction when it comes out next week!

Hi Man

I personally didn't like how quickly Barris switched up her feelings. The last time we saw her she bombed the Jedi temple, force chocked an innocent woman whilst she was trying to give Ahsoka evidence, and she also fought Anakin in the presence of younglings without caring how they'd react. So to see her fall so far to then completely flip back on it after one village gets slaughtered (which is the same level of atrocity as bombing the temple and killing people there) doesn't really feel right to me

Feel the same way, the first episode would have been so much stronger if they stuck with the consequences of it instead of having it have very little impact on her overall with how she turned from it in her first mission. The biggest flaw with this was just how rushed it was and it’s such a shame cause Barriss’ decent could have been really interesting but to have it glossed over so quickly was a waste.
