BLOOD BENDING NOW!!! I thought Bending couldn't get any cooler or more creative after Metal Bending but this blew my mind! This whole episode was so Dark and Horrifying with how they handled it which was amazing but Hama was such a cool villain!!

A few days late but... the interdisciplinary martial arts in this episode is A+. During the katara/hama fight, Katara uses an earth bending move- instead of redirecting the attack, Katara assumes horse stance (earth bending technique) to directly block the attack. Team Avatar is so OP. On rewatch, keep this in mind, it shows up frequently.

That is so awesome! So now there even learning from each other and incorporating techniques from other styles to enhance their bending!?!? Love this idea so much that they can grow their abilities and beat opponents by throwing out movements that they just can’t expect!
