These Shadows are so cool!! Hemlock's projects just keep getting more dangerous and now this one seems to be even worse than the Chip, at least that wore off while this erased a Clone's identity. That said watching them in action was incredible!

Hi Man

Such an intense episode! I always love when they sprinkle in some "Clone Rebellion" and Rex storylines in this show. It's always good to see him. Speaking of Rex, when the X-Trooper threw in that grenade and Rex just straight up jumped towards it and threw it back at him was so badass. You don't mess with my boy Rex🤣I don't care what kind of Shadow Trooper you are, he will mess you up😂😂 Seeing Chuchi and Singh again was also great. And you are completely right, just seeing two seantors who were on opposite sides of the war speak with so much respect towards eachother was great to see. We are used to getting these kinds of percpectives from a soldiers point of view like Echo. And they obviously react with a lot more animosity towards seperarists, which makes sense because they've spent the entire war fighting against them. But here, these senators basically did the complete opposite. Trying to stop the war for the benefit of their people. Although already seeing two assassination attempts against Chuchi is a little worrying, especially since we haven't really seen her in the original trilogy like Mon Mothma. So that definitely worries me. Getting more Howzer was also pretty sick aswell, even though he is very antagonistic towards Crosshair which is completely fair. Almost his entire squad was wiped out because of him and now he was actively keeping information from the group by not telling them more about these Shadows. If he did, this whole thing could have been prevented because Rex would know not to try and capture one since they have undetectible chips that could lead the Empire straight to them. So I think he is completely fair in being distrustful towards Crosshair. But I do agree that it was such an awesome moment when Hunter jumped to Crosshair's defense. The X-Trooper or "the Shadow" was also pretty awesome. Their armor design and their mysterious nature make them so interesting. And they are pretty good at their job aswell. Just one of these operatives was able to infiltrate and take out most of Rex's troopers at the station and completed one of his objectives by killing the other Operative. It was a nice touch that Rex's base is on Teth, the same planet from the Clone Wars movie. It was such a throwback and definitely made me all nostalgic just by seeing it again. Also shoutout to my boy Fireball who died defending the base. He was one of two regular clones with Echo when they ambushed an imperial ship last season and rescued Howzer. Here, he truly lived up to his name and went out in a LITERAL fireball. We can cetainly add him to the clones whose names foreshadowed their death or their actions like Mayday, Willco, Dogma and Droidbait.

I had a jolt of Joy when Hunter Stepped in for Crosshair as well 😁😂 and yeah like you said it feels better knowing what they went through previous episode that brought them back together teamship wise Rex really has got a whole Clone Rebellion thing building, like a base of operations and everything and I love that they now operate in the Monastery on Teth, the Place where a lot of things started but sadly that may no longer be the case considering the Shadow dude called for Back up Led by a Particular Clone you didn't recognize at the end but I'm sure your memory will Trigger in the Next Episode lol 😂

Even though Crosshair’s my favourite Bad Batcher, Rex will always be my favourite clone and his scene throwing the grenade back was so sick!! I really love it when they bring in the Clone Rebellion story back, all these characters already feel so connected so to me it seems like the easiest option would be to have the Batch join but I’m starting to like that they are staying separate, it’s adding to the individuality of the Clones even after the war as they still all want different things. Love it when we get to see the senators like this, even though the Republic and Separatist Alliance are gone these character’s stories continue and getting to see them be so kind and cordial with each other is amazing and goes to show how far they’ve come. I honestly forgot Howzer has one of the worst histories with Crosshair and it made for such a good dynamic, the Batch at least has good memories of him and knows what it’s like to have him on your side, all Howzer knew of him was from what happened on Rhyloth which was a disaster. I wish Crosshair didn’t hold back the info on the shadows thing, it would have made everything so much easier but I do get it since Hemlock tried to turn him into one I doubt he’d be eager to talk about it. I am in love with the X-Troopers!! The design alone got me intrigued but watching them work was so amazing, they not only were able to sneak into the base once but twice, this guy also took out Fireball, destroyed their ships and ruined this entire base for Rex. Having Rex use Teth as a base was so cool too, now I’m trying to figure out if there are any other locations from Clone Wars we might end up seeing where Rex sets up shop. It’s honestly so dark how all these clones are named 😂 Fireball has my utmost respect for taking out the Trooper and giving everyone the chance to get away but now whenever a new Clone gets introduced I’m gonna be so paranoid when I hear their name 😂 😂

Hunter defending Crosshair may have been short but it was literally all I needed to know that they're on the same page now and that the future will be bright for their teamwork 😂 It’s such a shame that this place got destroyed, it’s so cool that Rex had set up shop here and is using his past battles to find the places the Empire won’t think to look for. I feel so dumb for not recognizing him 😂 😂 I remember right of the next one but I still have so many questions on how he managed to keep his position in the Empire.
