This start to the final felt so intense, loved seeing the dynamic between Tarkin and Hemock, somehow Tarken can make a bunch of other villains just feel so inferior. No clue how the last episode will resolve everything after this, especially after Saw messed a bunch of stuff up.

Well this is certainly a problematic situation we've left off at 😬 To give a bit more context to that Tech/Phee scene there's a very likely theory by loads of people and I think even one of the writers jokingly suggested it on twitter that Tech and Phee "shared a couple drinks 🥂" 😂 the previous night and were kind of hitting it off and so that's why this following night Phee was more suggestive than usual and already acting like they were a pair in some sort when saying goodbye 😂 and of course Tech's mind is basically spiralling and he's internally anxious in that interaction which makes him more closed off and quiet than usual as he's not got the slightest clue how to process it all or what to say so it wasn't him being oblivious, and that slow glance as she walks away is him giving it a bit more of a clearer thought but without the intense pressure of her standing right next to him lol. Idk if it's confirmed but I like to think it happened so it's my head canon at least 😂 "What's Project Stardust??" This is what I'm enjoying about this chronological viewing, Star Wars has always had this funny pattern of Payoff first then setup 😂 so for the rest of us that watched this episode at the time it's just an Easter egg/Name drop of something we've already seen release order wise and is just to tie in other things we know happen. But you of course won't know yet and it's just a bit of a teaser right now that you'll learn more as you continue your Star wars journey, it's always an interesting prospective watching you view these things in a different order then we all did and getting to see actual set up before payoff 😂 I guess just be careful of spoilers though.

Hi Man

This episode did an absolutely fantastic job at making you feel stressed out and was a great setup for the finale. Seeing Saw again was interesting as well even though his intervention screwed the Batch and their mission. It is still interesting to think about his plan and what would have happened if he had succeeded. Many of those imperial officers are incredibly important for the Empire but Tech also raised a pretty good counter point aswell. Even though they are pretty important, the Empire is so huge that they would be replaced the very next day. And there are a bunch of other incredibly smart and competent members of the Empire so in the long term they would be fine but it would still very much alter the course of history. Especially for Project Stardust. You are going to hear a lot more about Project Stardust in future Star Wars content so be on the lookout. It was also a nice little detail in this episode that one imperial officer was actually against retiring the clones and he seemed to hold a great deal of respect for them. It just goes to show the Emprie isn't all evil. Just like any world government the biggest problem is always the central figures, in this case Palpatine, Tarkin etc. Looking forward to the next episode! Becasue oh boy....

Yeah, this situation is super concerning, I do like though that it shares the similarity from the Season 1 final, first part ending with Kamino getting destroyed and the second part getting out of it, but this one already feels so different as well. I love that theory and I’m choosing to believe it’s true!! I love the idea that their relationship was further along than just Phee being suggestive and there was some time spent together before Tech went on the mission. Their little talk was so awkward so it makes so much sense that more happened between them before this, they survived a natural disaster and have stuck around Pabu for a while after so they must have shared even a few evenings together. Also loved how you described his thoughts from their interaction, I couldn’t quite gather what was going on in his head then but you’ve described it so perfectly, even if it is your head cannon it fits so well 😂 So happy to know that project is something, I half thought it might have been a throwaway line to add some more to the meeting other than them just discussing clones but I’m so glad there is more to it cause with a name like that I’m sure that project will be as big as what’s been happening here. I’ll make sure to be careful of spoilers with this one as this was the type of thing I was hoping for when deciding to do it chronologically, getting to see all these references in the building phase creates such a different feeling than having it as an easter egg and with Star Wars being so huge I can’t wait to see what else happens like this!

Absolutely loved how this set up the final, felt so different and fresh compared to season 1’s final. Seeing Saw was great I just wish he didn’t hinder the group like this, it’s basically his fault that all this went so catastrophically bad, though it was really cool getting to see how far his operation has come with him getting more crew and being able to go on a mission like this. It’s also a little frightening that the Empire has gotten this strong so quickly, usually when this type of governance gets set up it’s extremely delicate to the point that every person involved is essential. The Empire though has gotten to the point that people as high up as Tarkin can be taken out and be replaced extremely easily and quickly. Looking forward to getting more info on Project Stardust, the name alone sounds super interesting so I’m sure the project will be as expansive as what Hemlock has going on. I really liked that one Imperial actually stood up for the Clones, shame though that it was only because he fought with them, I feel like it would have been cool to have an Imperial who values the Clones without having an existing experience with them and just valued them since their were sentient beings. I do like the overall aspect of having good people in the Empire, definitely makes it closer to reality. About the next episode, I am in deep denial 😂 🥲
