This was way too peaceful for an episode so close to the final so I was on edge for the entire thing 😂 Though it was a nice change of pace having a natural disaster be the threat of the episode instead of the Empire.

It was the first time they have had anything like that happen in three decades. That’s what the mayor said. I cannot wait to see your reaction to the next episode! Oh, and did you hear Steven Moffat is coming back to Doctor WHO?

Hi Man

I always really liked Pabu. It's nice knowing that even during Empire times there is a place in the galaxy that's just genuinely nice and peaceful. And I really agree that it was nice to not have the ususal villains for this episode. The fact that for the first time the villain is not anything malicious or evil just a force of nature was a really nice touch. It really goes to show how there is literally no evil in this place, just mother nature. I really liked how you were so distrustful of this place the whole time 😂 When I watched it at first I didn't really trust it entirely either but once I realized that this place was just supposed to be a window into the life these guys can potentially live if they leave all the Empire stuff behind them, it became clear what the purpose of this place was. The Batch and especially Hunter got a look into what "could be" their life if they left being a soldier behind. I also really liked the small little romance moments between Tech and Phee. You wouldn't think they would be a good pair but sometimes in life we find connection with people we wouldn't expect. So I feel like the nerdy reserved computer guy and the outgoing loudmouth pirate are a really interesting and honestly cute match. Overall this was a really nice episode, a truly nice example of the "calm before the storm" type story.

Three decades is only 30 years though, that seems like a pretty regular thing to start a whole civilization around. Cannot wait for what comes next through, terrified about this being too calm and I’m so not prepared for the final. Heard something about Moffat coming back, definitely gonna keep an eye on it and see what the vibe is like cause I don’t want to go back into it and then have the writing decline again, I like remembering Doctor Who from Moffat’s run and I just don’t want that memory sullied.

It was really cool to see a place untouched by the Empire, for so long it felt like Palpatine had control over everything but seeing this makes his grasp seem a little weaker in a way like he got 98% of the galaxy instead of the whole 100. The Mother Nature angle was such a fresh perspective, always having a physical bag guy is fun but I loved seeing what the writers were able to do without it and still managed to create a compelling problem for the heroes. This show has made me way too paranoid to through a calm and beautiful location at me with no darker side to it 😂 😂 Really do like how it lets the Batch see what their lives could be like and it looks so idealistic which only makes me more concerned cause nothing beautiful lasts. Tech and Phee I’m really starting to love, and hoping to get more on this relationship cause after thinking about it feels so natural, Phee’s strongheaded and would guide the relationship while Tech would follow along and be able to enjoy it and process it at his own pace. Loved the episode overall but with this being so calm and pleasant, I know I’m not going to be ready for the final at all!
