This was a really fun continuation of the arc, so cool to see other evils pop up within the galaxy and that the Empire isn't the only thing, though I will say I'm not quite sure I liked how this ended. 🤔

Hi Man

This is definitely a weaker episode although I wouldn't call it bad. It definitely had it's moments with Omega learning that the Empire isn't the only evil in the galaxy. And it was interesting to see an Empire esque operation but on a much smaller scale. I also really like the moment when Omega willingly jumps off the cliff at the end. You could see she wasn't panicking at all and had full faith and trust that Hunter will catch her. It's a cool little moment that shows not just how much trust has developed between her and Hunter but also showed how she is a lot more confident now and less likely to panic in a dangeorous situation thanks to her training. It's a stark contrast to how she was desperately trying to escape from Fennec when she first tried to capture Omega at the beginning of season 1. So it's really cool to see all her training pay off by having her be so cool under a life or death situation. It's funny how you mentioned that Mako looks like a goblin because that's exactly what came to mind for me when I watched this episode. More specifically Trade Prince Gallywix from World of Warcraft. I don't know if you've played WoW before but he looks and acts exactly like him, even right down to his walking stick.🤣But in all seriousness I don't 100% know what species he is but if I had to wager a guess I would say he is a Zygerrian. His ears and face look like one to me anyway. And if he is a Zygerrian it would make sense given how awful they mostly are so it's a pretty safe guess I think. All in all I definitely think this is the weakest epsiode of the season but given how absolutely phenomenal the first half of this season was I don't mind an "okay" episode at all. Especially with how good the second half of this season is going to be. Also I'm sorry that the first character to share your name in this series ended up being so annoying. 😂I hope we get a Ben in Star Wars in the future who's a lot more cooler 🤣 I mean there is Old Ben Kenobi but that's sort of a cover name so he is not an authentic Ben 🤣

Haha Yes! everytime I hear Benni Talk all I hear is Ben Tennyson as well 🤣🤣 that voice is just too imprinted in my mind I'd say this is definitely the weakest episode of the entire Bad Batch Show for now, the very last episode of Bad Batch releases tomorrow as I'm writing this but I don't think it'll be anywhere near contending with this episode in terms of low point, they've set it up to be a too epic finale 😂 It's a shame Echo isn't here anymore this is the kind of missions he likes doing just helping people under any kind of abusement rather than their usual collecting things for shady people

I think the overall plot of this episode failed to stick to the landing but what it did for Omega was the definite highlights, seeing her jump was terrifying but looking back the development it shows between her and Hunter is amazing. The metaphorical aspect of this being a miniature version of the Empire is an interesting idea but the thought of something so deep as the Empire falling and everything just going great just doesn’t feel right, I’m really looking forward to getting to the projects that come after the Empire just to see what kind of antagonists or threats there are as I’m sure things won’t immediately be solved like they were here. Haven’t played World of Warcraft but I keep getting recommended to play it 😂 His species is definitely interesting with how evil he just naturally looks, at least Palpi actually had to get scared before he ‘looked the part’, I can see Mako being maybe a mutated Zygerrian, he looked almost scaly when I thought most Zygerrians were covered in furr but he definitely embodies the whole slave-master culture. If this was the weakest episode I think that’s almost a testament to the show, the lowest point here was very avoidable with the ending feeling like an easy out or something instead of writing the reality of where this situation would lead. And with Ben, at least the voice of Ben 10 and Spiderman got to voice him 😂😂

It was so cool hearing this voice actor again! He was basically the main voice I heard growing up in every TV show. I’m honestly impressed that this is the weakest cause only the ending fell flat, it had some great moments with Omega and Hunter just getting to see how their trust has developed, and I guess with the weakest episode past it can only get better from here! It’s honestly a little frustrating that Echo isn’t present for the mission he’d probably be most passionate about, he would have absolutely shone here and now I can only imagine what he would have done faced with Mako, having him there could have even made the ending feel better with him giving the people into the right position to start a better society instead of them just falling into it.
