This was a commission. And what an end result :o


I didn't think I'd be able to get anything out of this project. It's one of those, where I get commissioned for something that's vaguely what I do, in this case, simple feet pics. So I go at it, crafting it like I usually do. Then I turn on the rendered view, and realise I used the wrong model.


I had posed, sculpted and set the camera up for the shot before noticing it, and that's hours of work that I didn't want to lose. But looking at the renders... It's unusable. It looks atrocious. So I take the decision to start it again, almost from scratch, with th eright model. And that happened to be the best thing I could have ever done.


Being familiar with the models I use is such an advantage, it's unreal. I just zipped through the creation process, and even tested out stuff in Photoshop that I had never done before, and the result looks stunning.
