Twitter fucking artists over (Patreon)
Content
So maybe you've noticed that I posted Kiriko's feet twice on Twitter. I noticed that the original release got basically no traction, I estimate about 1/5th what I usually get. So, after consulting with other artists, apparently including links in tweet and tweet replies is what causes the issue.
I keep telling myself that numbers are not important, but at sime point I have to admit that I care about them. Getting hundreds of likes proves to me that, no, I'm not just throwing stuff into a vacuum. That's why I posted it twice.
As for what I'll do to promote this Patreon... ???
Just... Mention it? But not clearly because it might be a trigger word too?
Honestly with Reddit shitting itself andTwitter becoming hostile I don't know where to go. There's Pixiv left still, and hopefully given the speed of Japanese bureaucracy it won't change in the near future. But apart from Pixiv? Nowhere that I know of.
