This is the story of how I decided to go Rogue!

Bringing the 'draw my life' videos back to life with a 'paint my life' video where I tell you all about how I ended up here on youtube!  From my humble beginnings in art school, my first time in a Hobby shop to my 7 year career at Games Workshop and how I realised it was time to move on...

As I mentioned earlier this was a long tough video to crack through so I really hope you all enjoy the story time.

Thanks for being Rogues!!

Going Rogue! The story of Rogue Hobbies

This took me three attempts to film and I get a little emotional so please forgive me if things get a bit wobbly :') Music used for the end credits - Without End you can listen to all the music used in this video here! https://youtu.be/XKUSH2pp1P4 _______ For business enquiries please contact me at roguehobbies1@gmail.com Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/roguehobbies Merch - https://roguehobbies.com/ YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@roguehobbies

Louise Emily Sugden. I am so proud of you. Brave. Strong. Talented and so, so loving. My ‘precious gift’.

So much of your story resonates with what I and no doubt a lot of us go through in a workplace that you are so heavily invested in and passionate about. You’re an incredibly talented artist and can’t wait to see what your creative freedom will bring to the world! Thank you for the videos, inspiration and goblins 😁

Louise you are a legend, that must have taken some courage to film, you’re an inspiration, Thankyou!

Yes! I feel ya. Imposter syndrome echoes through my life, even when doing the warhams. Acknowledging it is one thing, but its so very difficult dealing with it. I hope you find peace with the struggle and keep creating such vivid and bright creations. x

Wow, very brave! I have no words, but I felt like I had to post something. It’s not too many times that I get emotional over hobby videos, but yours got me. I knew nothing of you until Warhammer Plus Masterclass. You caught my attention when you painted all those bottles, I still have to try doing that! Lol Anyway, you have my support and I can not wait to see what you do with your channel.

This must have been so cathartic to film and record. Every once in a while I do like to record a reflection of my life, and it has always done wonders for my mental health. I think I would cry 90% of the time though.

I’ve never seen myself so much in a video. So glad that you have put yourself out there. It’s an inspiration to the rest of us shut ins.

Oh. I had to become a patreon after that video…Thanks for sharing! Its hard when your dream job turn sour, but its great that you learned that your dream isnt dependent on GW.

I relate to this on a lot of levels. I'm glad to see you are doing well after exiting GW, and am greatly looking forward to whatever you have in store for us down the line. Also BIONICLE, YESS! I love Bionicle too! Would love to see you paint some pieces or masks, that would look rad!
