Here is my full length unedited reaction for One Piece! This only includes my reaction and thoughts. There is no intro. I always start my recordings at 00:00:00 of the show to make timecode syncing much easier and the timecode is included. I watch through any recaps (if any) and intros. But it always starts at 00:00:00. Must have your own copy to watch along with, since I can't offer that due to copyright laws. Streamer: Netflix

Personally this is when I really got engrossed in the show on my first time through. I was enjoying myself up until this point, but there was so much world building and exposition in these few episodes that it got me really excited for what's to come. Which is a strength that this show really has. In the grand scheme of things compared to what has happened and what's to come there's aren't exactly memorable episodes, but on a rewatch so much happens here. And yes Laboon is amazing, One Piece does an amazing job of making you love all the animals. With the exception of Ritchie in the very first Buggy arc and maybe 1 or 2 other rare cases, if an animal gets introduced it will become one of the best characters. Oda does such a good job with all of their personalities and making them really memorable.

And just like that we're done with the Reverse Mountain Arc. like i said in the previous episode... this is not the West Blue, this is the Grand Line... Laboon and the Pirate Crew he was friends with came together through Reverse Mountain From the West Blue Canal and entered the Grand Line. Laboon's story is from 50 years ago... that was even before Roger's time as a Pirate. Luffy is great when it comes to understanding people (or in this case animal) at an emotional level, he knew exactly what Laboon was going through mentally and he quickly thought of a way to solve it. This may sounds strange to people who already are caught up with the current episodes/chapters of One Piece.... but my most anticipated fight of this Story is the Luffy vs Laboon Rematch. Also Mikey i don't know if you connected the dots.... but taking into account that Laboon is at the very entrance of the Grand Line.... that means that by the time Luffy and his Crew come back here... they will have already completed their Journey and Luffy will be King of the Pirates. Cuz you know... the part of the ocean that is directly on the opposite side of Reverse Mountain is Technically where the Grand Line Ends. "Raftel" the last island of the Grand Line... the place that only Roger and his Crew managed to reach, where the One Piece is supposedly located. We have an objective and it's time to set course towards it. This is what's essential to know about Log Poses and how to navigate the Grand Line.... - Each island of the Grand Line has a specific magnetic field - The Log Pose records one of those magnetic fields and points in the direction of the island itself - Once you arrive at an island with a Log Pose the Log Pose itself will start to record the magnetic field of the next island and then point towards it. - This process then repeats itself until you reach the Half-way point of the Grand Line which is the other extreme end of the Red Line at the other side of the Planet. That is how you navigate in the Grand Line. We also got briefly introduced to Mr. 13 (Otter) and Miss Friday (Vulture) and they're called "the Unluckyes". they seem to have the task to execute any rogue agents in whatever organization Mr. 9 and Miss Wednesday are part of. But i have to remind you.... the guy that Zoro fought and killed in his first scene of the Live Action was called Mr. 7 so... i would recommend you to go back to the first episode of the LA and rewatch that specific scene... you might find some useful information there. And lastly... it seems that Old Man Crocus knew Roger... which makes sense since he has been living in the Twin Capes for 50 years... so he must've have encountered Roger when he and his crew entered the Grand Line throught Reverse Mountain more than 22 years ago.
