A calm and simple one! Nice to get a Garnet focused episode with lighter stakes. Her statement on love at first sight not being real is a wise one. I'm not sure what I like more... the implication that Jamie went to middle-of-nowhere Kansas to try and start an acting career, or the implication that somewhere in Kansas is this version of Earth's LA.

Sooo... i've been waiting for you to reach this episode to explain something really cool about the show. you did find it strange that Jaime said that Kansas (of all places) it's where the big movies are made... well that piece of information has a reason... Steven Universe takes place in an alternate Planet Earth, one where Walt Disney never left the state of Kansas when he was just beginning his career as an Artist. An because he never left Kansas and moved to LA he ended up founding what would eventually become Walt Disney Company in the state of Kansas to produce the animated movies we all know and love. And therefore because his company was located in Kansas and it was succesfull... all the other aspiring artists of the country ended up migrating to that state instead of California... which led to the creation of Hollywood... but located in Kansas xdd. it's a really cool and interesting piece of Trivia, and it's not the only thing that is different about SU's Earth... there are more tangible differences as well... but it's still not the time to talk about them.
