Here is my full length unedited reaction for One Piece! This only includes my reaction and thoughts. There is no intro. I always start my recordings at 00:00:00 of the show to make timecode syncing much easier and the timecode is included. I watch through any recaps (if any) and intros. The live-action definetly did Sanji's backstory better, not just because it was taken directly from the manga but also for two other things.... For starters because it just doesn't make sense that Zeff would still be alive after all that time without eating a single thing. And second because eating his own leg to survive because he previously decided to steal more treasure than food depicts perfectly the lesson that Sanji learns in that moment... the lesson that then becomes his personal life code. Also on another subject... yes, Jujutsu Kaisen i think fits with the kind of vibe you're trying to build on your channel. i think you will like it. And it looks that people recommended you YuYu Hakusho (The live-action apparently tho i don't know why) and while i can definetly agree that that's another good pick for an anime to watch... i gotta say that there's an even better option... which is HunterxHunter. It's an anime/manga created by the same author of YuYu Hakusho... but in my personal and humble opinion HunterxHunter surpasses YuYu in every single way, i consider it a Masterpiece on the same level as One Piece.

Wait, how are you an anime fan without ever having heard of Yu Yu Hakusho? And I'm asking this as an extremely casual anime fan. XD Anyway, you already know by now that the leg-eating came from the manga, so I'll just say this is one case where I think the live action version beats the anime version, mainly due to not suffering from censorship but also because it doesn't create the huge plot hole of "How did Zeff survive?" It also had that bit where a ship actually came but it was in the middle of a storm so Sanji's cries weren't heard. That part shook me. (Also, Mihawk got me listening for it and now I'm noticing that live action Zeff also sounds very similar to his dub actor. But I'd be optimistic to call it anything but a coincidence and they do both just sound exactly what you'd expect someone who looks like that to sound.)
