I'm quite amused by how aggravated and cranky Steven is (understandably so) to both Aquamarine and Lars, lol. Particularly this: "Say, Rose... How do I look?" "Awful, small, and mean!!" While Lars is once again being a bit of a turd for part of this episode, I do actually have a bit of sympathy for him during the whole "tie my pants into a lasso" part, because he's clearly nowhere NEAR the destabilizer, so it's probably pretty annoying that Steven is so insistent on him doing this task he already knows has zero chance of succeeding. But still, ahah- use your words, man. He gets there in the end and they have a nice moment, thankfully. Yikes, Steven really was prepared to just help Lars go home and stay behind to turn himself in, though... oof. Rough. The poor guy's so guilt-ridden on his mother's behalf that he forgets that he has nothing to do with her war decisions. :(
