I don't generally like calling arcs "filler", because it kind of misdiagnoses the problem. I prefer to call them non-canon, in the sense that the writers of the episode don't know Oda's intentions with the broader worldbuilding, and can invoke stuff that absolutely should not be incorporated into your expectations. If we're calling things "filler", there are parts of the source material that don't meaningfully advance the plot. But they're canon, so people don't call them filler. Just seems like the wrong phrase for the job is all.

Once again the gag of Chopper not knowing how to properly hide always gets me xddd yeah, it's cool seeing more of the Zoan Type Devil Fruits. Pell mentions that only 5 types enables their users the ability to fly, but he must be referring to specific models of the Zoans, because we have seen that elemental devil fruits like Smoker's Plume-Plume Fruit and Ace's Flame-Flame Fruit pretty much lets them fly as well.
