Twitch stream tomorrow at 1pm ET & a new HD upgrade of classic Foamy will be posted too. Finishing up a fairly long episode that will finally get Sue z. June back into the series, so that’s about a month away. Visual novel has been a slow roll too. Kinda just so much stuff I could do, I haven’t settled on what I will do. So right now I’m figuring out how to set up some story boundaries. Generally I’d like to have a multitude of options for every choice in the game, even simple banter could branch off into a plethora of avenues so it’s been fairly difficult to narrow down dialogue trees to be streamlined.

My issue with games like visual novels tends to be a limited set of choices that create a handful of outcomes. In my head it’s almost limitless. So a simple scene of Foamy popping up to greet Germaine could have various alternatives. Have Foamy toss a rock at her to wake her up. Throw a refrigerator at her. Slap her with a block of cream cheese... and so on and so on. In my head there’s a hundred ways to wake Germaine up and each one of those would branch out creating an alternative story. My brain wants to do too much with it when I know I’m fairly limited in resources when it comes to what’s practical. And practical is boring. We’ll see what happens.
