I just love MPL 😭 I forgot how much until we got the NEW EPISODE My Friday nights just got so much better 💕

First of all, I can’t stress enough the heart pounding excitement I felt leading up to this season premiere! Like a lot of people, MPL saved my sanity this past year and now it’s such a huge fixture in my life, I don’t want to imagine this story, the fandom and the friends I’ve made, without it. So I’m coming to pour all the love and excitement I usually ramble and leave on all the A-MAZING fan fictions this brilliant fandom has, here for Lily and anyone else interested in reading it, for each episode starting with season 2 onwards. Because I just have this build of freak out emotion that needs to escape somewhere. I’ve no idea if you’re see this Lily, but I’m going to post for each episode anyway, because you deserve to hear how amazing it is and how crazy I am about it. 😂 Let’s do this! Poppy looking for another job...I felt that struggle in my soul! But that sign on the door...oof! Don’t need to be working there with those requirements, Pops! Eesh! “Fifth times the charm!” I’m clearly super invested in these people because my first thought was, ‘When is this woman going to find time to sleep!’ with all the work she already does at GGP. But that’s my protective instincts coming through and I remembered this is Poppy who’s a total badass. Side note, I LOVE her outfit!! And I love when she has braids. Because I’m slyly jealous I can’t do them on myself at all. Ha! I was not expecting to get thrown into her meeting Ben so fast! I mean I had no idea what was coming anyway, but I was pleasantly surprised to have his character pop up. Also, their meal looked, wow! And the back and forth between Poppy and Ben was crackling. I mean he needs a bit of an attitude adjustment, but he’s a kid clearly trying to do the right thing, and because of that he’s gone way up in my respect. Also, reading Patty’s analysis of this episode really helped me open my eyes to him in a way I needed. (Check those out, they’re soooo enlightening and funny!) I freaking love Poppy’s expressions! Just re reading the episode now is making me laugh! And I could relate to the judgey part she acknowledged of herself. Who doesn’t knee jerk react to certain situations? Another thing about MPL I adore, it makes me look at things a different way and see similarities in situations around me, that I can maybe for forward reacting differently too. And I love a pun, so that ‘a-parent-ly’ had me clapping with joy. LOL! Oh shit, hell no! I don’t do cockroaches...At. All!! I’m with Ben! That bowl would be flying, flame throwers at the ready, this place needs to be burned down. Hell no!! Full blown shuddering right now at the mere thought. And that poor bowl of food wasted! Devastated me! *overheats* Bloody hell. Tora. That’s...bloody hell. My British is coming through, but damn, I can’t words. Lily...Tora in the pool hall, I just...I’m nope. Absolute sorcery! That’s a picture of pure heat right there. DAMN! Ok, I’m focusing, I am. Neko-Chan I know we’ve just met but I feel like I want to be your best friend. I know we’ve got such a tiny slice with him here, but I’m sold! I want more! Any little tidbit into Tora’s past and I latch on to it. Introducing an old friend is like huge amounts of gasoline to that fiery curiosity for me. I need moooooore! Talk about teasing, haha. Ah man, and then my heart started pounding when we went back to Poppy and Ben. Shit got real, real fast! Poor Ben just can’t catch a break. And with this asshole Waffle House son too! Clearly someone’s been making use of that money. I know this story inside out now so knew instantly who he was! Again, pleasantly surprised to see him pop up again so quickly, after wondering where he was with that video and the money he got from it. Hmmmm. Oh snaps, another tidbit into Joe and Tora, watching the ‘area’! I literally stopped reading, took a few deep breaths to calm myself and dived back in! I really hope we get some flashbacks with them because this other little tease is killing me! In the best way possible. But back to Ben and Poppy. The situation is looking tense as hell and Poppy’s expression was giving me all kinds of anxiety! So ending with Tora at sunset and Poppy running full pelt towards him screaming, “Run!” I would’ve got up and legged it out of there too! Tora’s surprise was everything!! I love him caught off guard, always by Poppy too. I’ve fast passed cause I’m thirsty and eager and just can’t help but throw all the love at MPL I can. But to be left on that cliffhanger...genius! I love the suspense this story brings. The very real need for more always. And never being disappointed when we get yanked back off the edge. Story aside, the artwork was beautiful! Just the frame with the smoke from his cigarette was incredible. The lighting, the setting. Especially towards the end with the light getting dimmer not just from the sunset but where they are and what was happening around them; it’s so visually stunning. I don’t find the right words when it comes to the art work, others definitely phrase it better than me. But best believe I notice it and I love it! So I cut this pretty close considering new episode drops tonight. But I’m determined to keep this up because I feel lighter already just getting all those feels out of me ready. Welcome back, Lily! ❤️
