Some of you have asked for a video explaining my process for creating a video. It’s coming but will take a lil bit for me to put together. In the meantime I wanted to show you some behind the scenes of a different “process”… my process of how I changed my mindset to make me believe in myself enough to start this project, and envision a future track for expanding it, with multiple ideas and plans I want to pursue.


Like many people I suffer from mild depression occasionally. My inner “talk track” used to be pretty negative, with a cynical and limiting view of myself. They say the things you hear your parents say growing up become your inner monologue for life. 

One day while I was struggling with self worth my friend sent me a spotify playlist of affirmation songs. I decided to listen to the playlist every morning while I was getting ready for my day, and did so for a few months—every morning.


Over time I memorized the lyrics of the songs and they’d get stuck in my head. The negative self talk and future outlook I’d had as my mental “background noise” had been replaced with a running backing track of lyrics like these…
