Super Kitsune & Buni (Patreon)

Aaa this is that mock up I was talking about. I think the way old Donkey Kong Country renders look is pretty charming and they honestly had a lot of atmosphere within them.

Considering the fact that my 3D models are styled after old renders such as those I figured I should try making some mock ups with them, and this was the result. I based the photo one on a Japanese Donkey Kong country advert (it’s called “Super Donkey Kong” over there, fun fact). 

The one where they’re giving each other a high five was based on a page from the Japanese manual. The white text roughly translates to “Lifelong happiness book” or something, which I guess kind implies it’s like a strategy guide.

Uh I still haven’t figured out rigging yet, my computer can barely handle two 3D models in blender, let alone one, so I posed them by dividing their models into pieces and then bending them and such.
