aaaaa its finally done, this in-joke can finally be laid to rest. 

Oni, at the request of Onsune, goes mushroom picking in the woods to get ingredients for a new recipe. Unfortunately, he ends up picking a bad mushroom (ghost thingy?) and draws its ire. Of course it's all just a bunch of empty threats to someone like Oni, so theres nothing to worry about.

...Right?

This is kinda like Kitsune & Buni volume 2.5 if you really think about it.

So, about a year ago or so, uh idk if I remember the exact details, but I would tease my friends about ghost hands in art and what that implied I guess? Uh one thing led to another and Oni ended up getting brought up cause my friends are huge Oni simps mwah mwah, and the joke on an doujinshi where he just swats away ghost hands the entire time was born.

I didn’t actually intend on making it until I tweeted out a mock-up cover for it and someone replied "I won't rt this bc it is hilarious to keep it as a secret."

Uh I guess they thought I was actually making it? But it was because of that reply that I thought, maybe I should make it, could be funnnn. But uh, I got caught up in working both Cookie 2 and Kitsune & Buni 2 at the same time (bad idea lmao) and that obviously pushed this back considerably. 

I guess I just wanted to do other things first before doing this, Dr.Badger stuff, First Star, non-comic related art, kaseyama (which i'm gonna put on hold for a few months probably),and Cookie of course (which i've been missing a lot lately).

I'm not sure what exactly made me want to finish HOA now, maybe it was year of the rabbit synergy? idk, but its finally done, and I don't have to work about it anymore!!!

I don't really have anymore plans for doujins in the future, but if you have one you'd want to see, you areeee allowed to make fan requestttt.
