Nice ride 🚙 (Patreon)

Probably my love for classic Toriyama showing, but I strangely love drawing the Cookie characters riding vehicles of any kind. 

Idk why the Cookie cast specifically, I can't really imagine the same thing working for Kitsune & Buni's set of characters for example, but I suppose i'll never know unless I try.

Anyways, I drew the first image on stream a few months ago and just kinda forgot about it until now heheh... The second image is one I drew during the summer, I really wanted to go to the beach (which I did get to do during the Hawaii trip), and I had the song "hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride" stuck in my head for a while, so I was just motivated to make some sort of relaxed beach drawing. Though they ended up in a car because of some Japanese car adverts I saw on Twitter. I ended up adding Peter and Iro to it later just to make it more "full."

The third one was inspired by a piece of 90's Toriyama art that he made for the Dragon Ball Manga, where Bulma, Goku, and Gohan were driving cars and hover-bikes respectively. I just thought it was cute. Though the space visuals were inspired by the End credits for Urusei Yatsura 2022, which I thought were pretty.

Finally, the last picture was inspired by Kirby and the Forgotten Land (A game I absolutely love hehe) and I absolutely loved the opening sequence to that game, with Kirby driving around as the games main theme plays (if you haven’t seen that scene yet please look it up its so cute), so while on my third play through of it, I ended up drawing Cookie & Peter driving one of the cars featured in the game and listening to music (You can probably assume what music they’re listening to). The mountain BG was a picture I took while driving towards the mountains on our 2019 Hawaii trip.
