I have an idea to what the pre-colosseum drink is. I do not know how to prove it, though. If you Assess the henchmen at Corneo’s mansion, while controlling Aeris/Tifa, there is an interesting text. In yellow, it warns that Corneo’s henchmen will drink a concoction that prevents them from being interrupted. It is peculiarly specific, and yellow text is often emphasized to be “more than lore.” I have guessed that it allows Cloud to be less “interrupted” in combat in Corneo’s Colosseum. Quantitatively proving this, however, is difficult, since I do not know how to measure being interrupted.

When I first saw the conversation with Johnny, I thought the joke was he had been given viagra by Don Corneo. What you've just pointed out may continue that joke, or it may simply the part of their combat repertoire. I didn't notice the text myself. Good spot.

So excited for the next parts! I realize chapters 10 and 11 will be a bit lesser in lore, but I am so psyched to see your reactions to the Shinra building and the changes to the story!
