August 2023 Status Update (Patreon)

Tackling this one bright and early for once, especially since it's a pretty big one.

First and foremost, dear god did I need that break, wow, I didn't even realize just how badly I got burned out until I took the whole month off, jeez.

As a side effect of that, I've decided going forward I'm probably gonna try to be a bit more strict about the requests I take, maybe turn down stuff I don't really feel any interest in and try to focus more on taking stuff I actually do have a personal interest in. Generally I tend to do stuff based on 'if I CAN do it, then I guess I'll do it', which is great for patrons, but a lot rougher on me in the long run than I was expecting. x_X

Besides, I have a huge list of flavors I post every month, there's no way people can't find SOMETHING on that they like lol

Moving on from that, the big thing now is that as of September 1st, I'll officially be overhauling my patreon tiers (again). After a few months of back and forth with my patrons, mainly on Discord, the results I've settled on are as follows:

$175 tier - colored sequence  1 slot

$120 tier - colored single page 10 slots

$75 tier - Sketch sequence 5 slots

$30 tier - Sketch/YCH 10 slots

$10 tier - poll suggestions Infinite slots

$7 tier - Access to poll voting Infinite slots

$5 tier - Entry level Infinite slots

I've added in two more tiers for poll related stuff, since that's something I always saw other artists do and wanted to try out. Generally they'll work by me taking suggestions from everyone in $10 and up from the 1st to the 5th, and then making a poll from the 5th to the 15th for everyone $7 and up to vote in.

Anyway, this aside, some of you were here before and know how this song and dance goes, but for anyone here who's new, here's what this means:

Patreon doesn't allow changes to prices in tiers that are currently occupied, so coming down to September 1st, I'll be removing the CURRENT $150, $100, $50 and $25 tiers and instead make a new $175, $120, $75 and $30 tier respectively. There's no way for me to like, save slots for people or anything, so it's going to absolutely be a free for all once I reopen the new slots on September 1st, especially since the current $25 will be reduced to 10 slots instead of 20.

So anyone in the existing tiers that wants to continue in the new tiers, the onus will be on yall to make sure you're moving across and grabbing a slot before they're gone.

I hope this update seems reasonable, but given I'm more or less living off this stuff, I needed to make some hard decisions about the rates I charge and the amount of work I do to match. Hopefully these don't seem too crazy, and I hope to see yall around come September ^^

That'll probably be the theme this time, plus the usual flavors listed below. I know I've always said they're voluntary, but going forward, I think I really would prefer if people tried to pull from those a little more XD
