December 2022 Update (Patreon)

Getting started on this one bright and early, especially since I think it's something a lot of you have been waiting on! 

First off, a big thank you to everyone who participated in my caption contest! This was my first time trying something like this, and for the most part it went as smoothly as I could have hoped!

What's really surprising is that somehow more people entered the longer form/story category than the shorter captions, which is pretty much the opposite of what I expected. I'll be messaging the winners later today to let them know they've won, and work out the details of their prizes. 

As for posting the submissions I got...originally I had intended to just link the Gdrive folder, but I got worried about usernames and so on, which is why I can't even post the winner names here lol.

Most likely what will happen is that now the contest is over, everyone can post their submissions on their respective sites of choice and I'll just make a kind of masterpost with links to all of them later this month.

I think that sums up the contest info, so I'll just say a few things about this month, work wise. 

As mentioned previously, I'll be taking this one off! I'm trying to do that twice a year now, every 5 months or so, and it's definitely helped. I was kinda falling apart for most of November after going that hard in the paint for October anyway lol.

For new people who haven't been here before, don't worry, you won't get charged for it, and you won't lose your spot. Patreon is just paused and will resume normal billing come January 1st!

(As an aside, good god how is it almost 2023 already?)

I'll still keep posting art ofc, and it'll still be visible to patrons regardless, so I hope  yall enjoy it!

As another side note, good luck to all yall respective teams in the World Cup, unless you got knocked out in round 1, in which case my condolences.

Also I discovered Mass Effect 3's multiplayer scene on PC is still straight FIRE so I'm recapturing my childhood of 10 years ago and loving it immensely QUQ
