March 2022 Update (Patreon)

I...honestly where do I even BEGIN with the update this month, jeebus. o_O

Well,  I'll tackle the world events later in this post, so for now, the main personal stuff:

First off, I've been in the local national internship program ever since I graduated LITERAL YEARS ago, with no luck. It's basically a government run employment program designed to find work opportunities for skilled graduates, etc etc.

Long story short, I got a call last month saying they finally had something for me, and it's (at least on paper) a decent one, amazingly. While good, naturally that presents some problems with my patreon job (which is my preferred job tbh). Sadly, I haven't had much follow up on it since, so things are kind of up in the air. I don't mind telling you it was a shock to get that call, given how it threw my whole established life into disarray lol.

That said, given I have no idea when they'll call, or when I might start, so I figured this was as good a time as any to lay out the plan going forward for patreon.

First off, obviously, I'm never shutting down patreon lol, I love this, and earning from my art is the best feeling, as is having support from all of you. Most likely what I'll do in that case is, whenever they start me off, I'll probably freeze patreon payments  for that month, or the  next one, if they decide to start me in the middle of one.

The main plan of  course just being to use that non-patreon month to settle into the job, get used to it, and most importantly figure out how to adjust my workload (if I need to, anyway). Other than that, there's not much else I can really figure out till they finish processing and working out whatever else they need to. It's government bureaucracy, we all know how efficient they are 9_9

Right, so that's about everything to say there, but given how everything else is a bit up in the air, I'll be scrapping the previous plans to change up the current tiers as mentioned last month. I'll keep you all up to date as things unfold, but for the most part yall won't need to worry.

With that out of the way, just some minor PC problems I'm currently wrestling with, I'm hoping it was a bit of a one-off, I really don't need to worry about THAT now x_X

No idea what's going on there, so there's not much else can really say. Hopefully I'll know more tomorrow if it does the same thing again.

And finally...well, I guess we all know the other thing going on in the world today. I honestly wish there was something I could say, but man, words fail me. With every day Ukraine holds out though, they win, and with all the support they're getting, it's the best anyone could hope for, and bless them for it!

It's certainly working so far, despite the terrible casualties caused by that Russian psychopath. My thoughts are with Ukraine, nonetheless, and I hope everyone else's are too.

Not gonna say anything else there, not really qualified to and no idea what else to, really...well, aside from insulting Putin, I mean.

In respect to that, and because there's really no good way to follow that up, I'll just drop the usual flavor list at the end here, and leave it at that.
