(SFW) Super Crown Wars 01 (Patreon)

So for the first time in like...ever, really, I've finally decided to sit down and put pen to paper to do a sort of mini comic.

Inspiration  hit me with all that Super Crown stuff and as I'm sure most of you know  I also have a great love of things like Super Robot Wars. So I decided  to cross the two and apply it to Super Smash things, especially  considering the hype train that's Ultimate 8D

And yes this also helped lol

It's  been turning out to be a lot more interesting an experience than I ever  thought, working in black and white and freehand like this, and it  definitely gets crazier going forward from here. It's actually letting  me experiment and play around with faces and poses and so on a lot more  than I originally expected, plus in the later pages I actually had to  invent some stuff just to get the image in my head down on paper. It's  all pretty exciting and I look forward to sharing it with you guys!

For  now though, here's page 1. Nothing too special, cuz I was mostly  focusing on just trying to do a comic at all, so I didn't really try to  be too detailed about it or clean it up much...plus I really liked how  fast it went.

Not much happening, other than  Bowsette chomping on a Final Smash ball to transform into GIGA BOWSETTE,  which was fun because I haven't really done stuff with a kaiju sized  feel before XD

Really loved how that panel came out too, felt pretty MAKE MY MONSTER GROWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW kind of

That  said, it doesn't look like she'll have much time to enjoy her newfound  size (in several meanings of the word, kek) as a new challenger appears  to be dropping from the heavens in shining blaze of glory.
