Build no.27 for 2023 - HG Schwartzette (Patreon)

This was build number 27 for 2023, completed on 11th November.

The Schwartzette is yet another winner from the Witch from Mercury line. Seamlines are worked in as panels, and a million play options with the sword-thingy make this a must have in my opinion. It also continues the trend of the WFM designs where Bandai have "cleverly" designed it to persuade you to purchase a 2nd kit for extra accessories.

My only real complaint is the foot unit, there are a whole bunch of mold lines on the heels, and due to all the articulation points it can be very difficult for it to stand flat-footed.

Since there were only 3 armor colors to paint and pretty much no detailing this was a relatively short build at 17.5 hours.

Painting

White - Grey primer, then base coat of Zeon MS Grey + some Finishers Foundation White, then highlight with Finishers Foundation + tiny bit of Zeon MS Grey

Black - Grey primer, then base coat of Mr Color GX Ueno Black, then highlight with Mr Color Ground Color (a very dark brownish black) + bit of white for highlight, then post-shade blend with GX Black.

Purplish Grey  - Grey primer, then basecoat of Zeon MS Grey + purple + bit of Phantom Grey, add white for highlights and post-shade blend.
