I cringe every time Ian opens up to Sammi. I just want to yell at the screen for him to shut up! Controversial opinion, but I love the fight scene at the baseball fields. It's just so classic Ian and Mickey, and the song that plays is a perfect pairing. They finally get to be Mickey and Ian again without the weight of anything else. Ian asking Mickey on a date is so cute. Until Sammi has to mess everything up. I get why Sammi is upset… don't get me wrong…but Ian didn't do anything in that situation. But I guess maybe that's the point since Chuckie was technically innocent in his case, too. Regardless, it's a bitch move.

I think Ian provoking Mickey into a fight is him urging out the normalcy that doesn't revolve around him being bipolar. It's not healthy, but it's their normal, and that's when we see Ian being more Ian and Mickey being more Mickey and them being just them, if that makes any sense at all 😅 "Why, Sammi". The way Ian delivers that is so heartbreaking. Sammi is definitely one of the worst characters, that's for sure! Can't wait for your next reaction!

haha i love the ian/mickey fight scene but i can understand if you don’t know how to feel about it. it just makes sense for them contextually. i would say it’s unhealthy for literally any other relationship but that was kinda just them being… them

The Ian and mickey scene were just them being Ian and mickey. It might look wrong, but it’s just how they are. They fight hard, but they love even harder. Any other couple and it would be toxic as hell. But not them. Also, Ian felt completely numb on the meds and just needed to feel something. Anything.

i actually like the ian and mickey scene. when i first watched it i interperated it as a good/feel good scene. it isn't healthy but it was just beautiful imo. ian got to relax and be him after such a long time. they were happy together for the first time in a long time

The very first time Mickey and Ian hooked up it started as a physical fight. And physical fights are a normal part of life for both Mickey and Ian with how they grew. Punching it out and then being chill instead of talking it out feels normal to them. It obviously isn’t objectively healthy, but they are making progress. Mickey’s character grow from the first few seasons is still huge. You can see the wheels turning in Debbie’s head when Derrick’s sister in law talked about being a part of his family and having her kid. Turning down the condom was calculated choice Debbie made which is shitty but she is also just a 14 year old who desperately wants to be loved and accepted

i like that you keep saying that you have hope for frank but its constantly trampled on, bc that's exactly what all the kids experience. also debbie is such an idiot I cant stand her but at least shes with someone her age i guess 🙄 and it goes without saying but ill say it anyway---sammi SUCKS. also notice how she's claimed the title of the head of the household but doesn't do crap when the water gets turned off. fiona would've already been working on that Also i HATE that lip is straying from Amanda, like their relationship is the perfect scenario for him. he gets sex, phones, vacations, and he befriended her father who could get him opportunities in his field. But he wants to bang a married professor….he’s smart but dumb as hell.

The hatred for Sammi runs deep in this episode!! Why is she still even in their house?? Kudos to the actress for really making us hate her!! Lol.. and Debbie.. I literally have no words.. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Fiona is always caught in love triangles.. I love the drama of it but at the same time I don't want that for her anymore.. Love Kev and V.. that scene was so nice of them laying in bed staring at each other and having a silent conversation between them 🥰 Can't wait to see the rest of the season!!! And can't wait for the Bear!! It's been winning all the awards as it should!! 😁✌️

The bleachers scene is actually one of my fav Ian/Mickey scenes!! from the fight to make up kiss and Ian expressing how he hasn't felt anything since he's been on his meds, it's the first i've seen Ian happy and himself all season!!! They also grew up with violence, so of course it's not healthy in real life but for the sake of television its just classic Gallavich.

i love the bleachers scene so much, theyre dysfunctional but theyre each other's dysfunctional i don't agree with debbie's actions but... its very understandable why she'd do it (i could never hate her even if shes a lil dumb 👎) fiona doesnt live at the house, lips gone, ians unstable, carls in jail... who else does debbie have really, of course she'd run to the first sign of warmth she could think of

god i actually despise sammy. the fact that she took her anger out on IAN of all people.. he didnt have shit to do with chucky going to jail. i dont think he ever even spoke to him😭 he had never been rude to sammy either. that scene also just breaks my heart.. just an episode earlier he thought the MPs were coming after him and was absolutely terrified and sammy turned that into a reality :(

Hey everyone I’m a newer member to the community here. Wanted to firstly say I LOVE the Shameless reactions not enough creators react to that show. And there is so much depth in it, which is why the brief moments of comedy are so amazing to have to break the tension. Anyway I was just curious are you guys totally done with the Walking Dead I was really enjoying those reactions as well.

Walking dead is totally on pause. I plan to continue after we get some things done on the back end of everything.

i find the portrayal of ian's bipolar to be pretty accurate- honestly, its so different for everyone but what i think most people with bipolar can relate to is the experience of meds making you feel totally and completely out of it. i never put my hand on a burner but i have stuck my hands in snow and sat outside in below freezing weather just so that there was some sensation/feeling my brain could grab onto, even if it was uncomfortable

every time mickey and ian have a physcial fight i kind of interpret it as their way of expressing how they feel to eachother without having to talk bc neither of them grew up in households that had good communication but they both understand violence so they almost use that as a substitute to communication, is it healthy? no. but i feel that it works for them

Seriously she is human garbage. They already got Carl even if he deserved his time it’s still 1 for 1 and she went for the sweet sick one, vile! I can’t say what I would’ve done but she’d be out of that house immediately at the least.

I don't have bipolar disorder, but Ian has bipolar 1 (which is manic depressive but also comes with symptoms of psychosis) which is the less common type, and from what ive heard around the internet the portrayal is extremely accurate. a lot of people say its the most relatable performance theyve seen in any show/movie
