I don't know if this has been said anywhere but I'm rewatching your reactions here and I just wanted to let you know that I think the guy that play's Tommy (Steve's crazy friend) has said that he played Tommy like he had a crush on Steve and I think that kinda explains his intensity with anything to do with Steve - he's just constantly wanting his attention or approval or wanting to touch him. If his actor didn't say that and I'm wrong, it's kind of a thing that most fans agree on at this point.
