I'm so glad you're watching this show, and from the beginning too because I haven't seen these early ones in a long time. I really enjoyed the progression from the beginning when you said, "I'm not sure I really know what's going on yet" to the end with the "what the fuck is happening?" and camera stare 🤣🤣 I remember finding this one pretty unsettling to watch but this time I was mostly just blown away by that actor's performance (I know he's been in movies and stuff since this but I don't know his name). I'm always curious what that very last shot of his view out the window is supposed to mean. I know I read about it once but can't remember 😬 I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of the next one for sure. It's another uncomfortable watch but often rated very highly on episode ranking lists.

This episode makes me cry every time. The song she sang is so beautiful, and haunting. In the words saying that you can do what ever you want to her and she'll still be there for you. Seems as hopeless as her situation where she didn't want to do what they wanted her to do, but she still did it. She took the Compliance drink, and she didn't want to go back on the bike. Before she made the decision she looked back off stage to see the guy, but he wasn't there. They had already dragged him away. The girl that was pouting when she was singing, was the girl that showed the guy the trick with the vending machine. I'm pretty sure she liked him. . ( I'm sucking with names right now). The time that the guy went on the stage, the same girl was crying. In the end, the show that they were on and their whole world says alot about what people decide to care or pay attention to. Even with the first episode, the fact that the Princess was delivered, I think it was a half hour before he even did the thing to the pig. That shows that really people only care what's on their screens, and not real life. How life passes by as you're stuck only watching what is presented to you. You'll find that the whole Universe shows how technology controls us, and ruins lives. How something that seems simple and normal to us now, can easily snowball into something horrible.

Thank you for this. This is honestly a hard thing to put into words because I believe everyone has succumbed to this in one way or another. Varying severities of course, but the nature of it is still the same.
