our boy keeps pushing and pushing and pushing himself and its so painful to see, I'm so happy Emilia was able to let him let it out tbh, the poor boy was going to break. I also think that Rem seeing him that way is the best thing because he needs to be humanized to them.

For me this show is in the top ranks of isekai shows, a lot of modern Isekai is just male power fantasy rubbish but this one really digs deep into toll it would take to be transported to another world with no one and just suddenly become a hero with no training

This episode is one of my favorites from the series, it's a beautiful pay off to the past 4 episodes that have just been nonstop repeats and painful deaths for Subaru. It's so gratifying to see him finally make some progress as well as being able to be vulnerable with Emilia even when he can't tell her anything. I'm glad you seem very emotionally invested in the story.
