Episode 8? I find the idea of them all being slaves in one way or another a very interesting concept. The fact that the royal slave was telling Thorfinn, that she feels like they're the same echoed home the idea that he's a slave to revenge. He knows his dad wouldn't want this, but here he is, enslaved by the idea of getting revenge for him... It's just a terrible cycle. Also, in a way, Askeladd is a slave to his need to be free... food for thought lol
