AHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Gabimaru actually rescued Sagiri without even realizing it!! I think I'm really starting to notice that Gabimaru is just becoming a sponge for good intentions and lessons on how to be a good person by others around him. I feel like this episode really highlights that Gabimaru is just a result of his conditioning, and in reality he is a good person who is willing to change and learn more about how to become a good person to abide by his wife's wishes... and maybe even his late parents. [FUCK HIS WIFE'S DAD]

Also I feel like Toma's relationship with his brother also shows us that there's kind of a scale on how bad someone can be. They were kids forced in an unfortunate situation and poverty breeds crime, so in reality are they bad?

I feel like this show will really have us questioning what is considered a crime/sin? Who are we to decide kind of thing. Because all we've seen is people claiming they're good people watch people murder each other for fun under the guise of justice and criminals who lean into the role they've been cast into and criminals who are just a product of their circumstances... ANYWAYS. enough deep diving for today.
