Yeah Lihaku seems like a very sweet guy. I think Jinshi's motive for offering the money was initially just to get him to go away and not potentially woo Maomao. I mean from Jinshi's point of view, it looks pretty sus since Lihaku was the only other guy to give her a hair pin, and he keeps finding them together. But after the conversation I think he realized he wasn't a threat and actually came to respect him a bit. Hopefully Jinshi can help him out in less direct ways, like fast tracking his career or putting in a good word for him.
