Well, after what feels like 2 straight days of setup work I can start doing the actual animating.

Having 4 characters all with folder structures definitely takes a lot of extra time to setup and animate. 

I'm also setting up a few unique systems for compatibility down the road. For the pressed-together breasts I'm manually animating them using objects as a reference via nodes constraints and then connecting them to the usual folder in a folder method. This way characters of various bust sizes SHOULD be compatible unlike my last animation. Simply move the folders into position. This doesn't solve the animation for flat chested chare though so I'll just have to make a version without bust animation.

While a good deal more complicated to animate, I'm loving the interaction between multiple characters. Animating a character doing something then animating the others response is quite fun. I only wanted to animate the first second yesterday but got carried away and did the first 5. It does give a good feel on how the animation will turn out. 

Sort of visible on Yae but I'm also experimenting with animating the SIZE of the iris. Shrinking and growing them to capture various new expressions. Looks good so far so I'll probably stick with it for the rest of the animation to see how it pans out.


Still lots to work on but the progress is pretty smooth considering how long the setup was and needing to come up with an adapted organization system for 4+ characters.
