Moonlight Is A Mixer

it’s 12 episodes btw! so 4 more + the top 9 commentary special episode

Moonlight Is A Mixer

i think they glorified jongwoo’s rise a bit too much in the first ranking announcement he “went up 29 places” but he did that in two weeks and in the third week he was 45th then he “went up 23 places” in the second ranking announcement, but he didn’t directly rise, the votes got reset when the new voting started and he was already way more popular so he just was higher from the start

I just discovered your channel very recently (because of zb1 lol) and I've been loving the Boys Planet rewatch with you! It feels very nostalgic for some reason :D I know you said you're gonna watch Camp Zerobaseone and their Kstarnextdoor interview sometime after Boys Planet (can't wait ^^) and I just wanted to recommend their episode on Dope Club too, if it wasn't mentioned yet. It's hosted by master Back Kooyoung from Boys Planet and it's so good :))

Prince Leon

Yes, I agree with you. Just because you're getting eliminated doesn't mean it's over. As you said, there is a time after boys planet. All these trainees who appeared on this show got the chance to showcase their talent, that means that people will keep an eye out for them in the future. Because there are so many talented people in this show, talent that we shouldn't let go to waste. That's why I'm so excited for EVNNE to make their debut. BTW, funny how you said that Mun Junghyun looks like a mix of Kang Daniel and Seungmin. I always thought he looked like a mix of Kang Daniel and I.N. Great reaction as always! :)

new-tro is a term that's been trending in korea recently, its a mix of 'retro' and 'new'. it basically means its a new re-definition of retro styles. it can be used to describe styles of music, fashion, themes, etc (*but honestly idk if say my name particularly conveys the 'new-tro' feels.

Also completely agreed that getting eliminated isn't actually the end. Something that came to mind when rewatching most of the Switch team basically giving up from the start and being so passive because "we're all going home anyway, what's the point? it's over" was "How do all the fans who voted desperately to keep them on the show for at least one more round feel watching this?" Just because they didn't get into the top ranks doesn't mean all the effort was for nothing. But if you as a contestant act as if it was, it's unfortunately pretty likely that not as many people will want to continue to follow and support you wherever you go in the future. You might feel like it's already over, but the cameras are still rolling and you still have a chance to convince as many people as possible to stick with you. But you need to give them actual reasons for that. The opposite is true for the ones who actually give it their all in spite of knowing they're very likely to be eliminated. More people are going to notice their dedication and passion. That's the biggest reason I started rooting for Wumuti, Kamden and the Supercharger team (who was in a similar situation but put in so much effort and did their best). P.S. I love hearing all your thoughts, watching with you has been a very nice experience :D All the best

Marco Gennuso

Yes I just noticed that! Do we get to see the performances to Say My Name, Switch, etc....at all in the next episode??

Marco Gennuso

I totally see I.N, yes!! I think I'm confusing his personality with Seungmin's and that plays a role in how I "see" him. But in terms of physicality, Mun Junghyun totally looks like a cross between Kang Daniel and I.N 🤗

Marco Gennuso

Yeah, I didn't even take into consideration the votes/voters! It's very much like politics lol; you gain a following and even if you didn't get elected in the end, you still walk away with pride in your work and all you e accomplished -Plus! - a group of people dedicated (or at the very least, interested) to you....and you can build from there the next time around! I appreciate the kind words, thank you!! 🤗💜

I would like to tell you some info about Seunghwan this is his second survival show. In 2018 he was on Under19 and made into the group from that show called 1the9. After the contract ended things seemed harder. At some point he ended up not having a company and in 2020 he auditioned for Loud a survival show JYP and PSY did but was edited out. I literally saw him for a moment when I watched it. So, I was so happy when I heard he was going to be on Boys Planet. And I am so happy that he gets to show people what he can do again. I guess a company must have been watching the show and signed him. He recently debuted with the stage name Onlee and sadly no one has reacted to his mv yet. His song is so good. I have been recommending him to my kpop friends. He is one of my soloists ults even though he only has one song, but I have been his fan since 2018. I told you all this since you seemed to like him during your reactions.

I had to look everything up. But, Ollie is a contestant in a Chinese survival show now called Asia Super Young. Kamden is debuting in a group that includes Jiho and Toui. And Haruto, Takuto, and Anthony will debut in a group called TOZ. I feel better that most of the boys are still pursuing their dreams.

Marco Gennuso

Thank you for the info. I know of LOUD - that’s where The New Six were formed! I'm planning to react to that show....I looked up Onlee and saw he has a MV that dropped almost 2 weeks ago. I had no idea! I'm going to react to it for sure!! I didn't know he had been on other survival shows...it seems companies don’t really know what to do with him? He's great, I'll check out his stuff! 🤗

I Love all this chat about the avatar world hahahaha. Now I'm curious about all the ZB1 benders, I need that analysis.

Alya

Funfact if there's no that 50:50 votes system wangzihao already in the top 8 and should be in the final already and could debut in zb1 too but yeah zihao lack korean vote just because he doesn't have screen time to attract knetz like look at the ratio 30k kvotes vs 1m ivotes and zhanghao po1 is basically cuz zihao not there in the final cuz all cfans divided 2 went it comes to vote which is between zhanghao and zihao zihao not pass final so all votes going to zhanghao

Rodeo Princess

My thoughts on SWITCH team not having a will to survive in this show was, Did they even think of their fans who casted a vote on them since day1? I mean yes they're on a low rank but they still had hundred thousands votes. They should've consider the feelings of those who are rooting for them. It should've been their motivation to do well until the end.

Rodeo Princess

Anderson reminds me of Ollie as well! the moment I saw Anderson on the Last Start I thought of Ollie

Somebody was saying that one of the boys (I think it was I Chan) had appeared previously on the Enhypen creation show I-Land, and they recognized him from there! (We also find out Ni-Ki's family owns a dance studio, and he's been dancing since he was 5, part of the reason he's so good at only 14-15!
