Yeah so this episode, Team A started finding their own identity and uniqueness. “Smile Again” was a song that helped me at that time because I was going through a dark time tbh. Which is why I felt a strong connection with Team A even more so when they sang “Smile Again”. It’s such a shame that the subtitles was delayed…the lyrics especially with better English translations hits differently. But you see the different between Team A style and Team B style. Which I have to say again..I truly thought that Team B was going to win the final battle. They were very YG style..fresh, young, hip hop, strong dancers, and can compose music. But then I also understand the kind of charm and presence that Team A has.. GD even mentioned that Team A has such endearing personalities + talent..they have a kind of unique charm to them. So in a way Team A is something different and not so YG style. They can definitely do hip hop, but when they’re able to tell a story or send a message in their own way just like “Smile Again” or even with “Officially Missing You”..it’s kind of refreshing considering what was trendy in K-pop during that time. That’s why I kind of rooted for Team A even thought I felt Team B would most likely will win. It’s the same with Team B tbh..they are more than just strong dancers/performers. They are more than just hip hop. Team A is not just mature or vocal heavy group.. they are much more than that. They are capable of bringing fun performances and songs. Honestly, Team A and Team B were so close in votes and it honestly was preference of what kind of music or style the public wanted to hear and see. I know some ppl who were more drawn to Team B’s music, image, and style. There’s other who really loved Team A..there is no right or wrong choices here. I do hope you get to dive deep into WINNER music..what you see in WIN is like 20% of their potential and talent. Their discography is so diverse and amazing. Yes their title tracks can be deceiving haha their bside tracks are 🔥🔥🔥🔥
